Humane Society Cats Mn. Takes stray cats and dogs. Volunteers receive reimbursement when the house is completed and delivered to the minnesota humane society with the receipts for the materials.
Wadena county humane society was founded in 1997 through the efforts of dedicated local volunteers. We accept owner surrenders, strays, and animals at risk for euthanasia at other crowded shelters when we have space. Houses are built by volunteers and funding for the houses is provided by the minnesota humane society.

No kill shelter/pound for cats and dogs. Our cats stay in foster homes, at our adoption & wellness center, or at one of our community partners, such as petsmart or chuck & don’s.
