August 2010, july 2010 and june 2010 saw a few different kinds of iams cat food get recalled because of salmonella and low levels of thiamine. These samples were part of the lots covered by your recall. I suppose if a person has only one cat they could resort to expensive foods. Proctor and gamble, the makers of iams brand cat foods, have issued a voluntary recall of certain lots of their dry cat food due to possible salmonella contamination.
