Not to say corn tortillas don’t have similar features. Canines do not process pure grains, or corn, the same way we can. Corn tortillas are although better than grain ones, but they are still not the best choice for your dog.

Since cats have adapted to eat a diet so high in meat, their ability to digest (and therefore extract nutrition from) plant foods has been greatly reduced. I have had cats who enjoyed green chiles, potato chips, asparagus, watermelon, beans and of course cheese, yogurt, ice cream and sour cream (you should not give unprocessed milk to cats, they are lactose intolerant). The bread in corn tortillas and tacos doesn’t have the same type of gluten as other types of bread.
